Scholastic Art Awards 2019

On behalf of the Fine Arts Department, I would like to share with you all the award recipients of this year's Scholastic Art Awards.  These students worked very hard during Semester 1 to produce works that were entered into State Competition right before Winter Break. 

 

Our students were recognized with three different acknowledgements: 

Gold Key - These students will have their works showcased in the exhibition at the HiSAM and will move on to National Competition

Silver Key - These students will have their works showcased in the exhibition at the HiSAM

Honorable Mention - These students will not be part of the exhibition but are still being recognized for creating conceptually and technically strong artworks

Please come see the exhibit, as artworks will be on display from February 16 - April 19 2019 at the Hawaii State Art Museum (HiSAM) at 250 S. King St in downtown Honolulu.

 

The ceremony will be on Saturday, March 16 2019, 3:00 - 5:00 pm.  Please come if you can to see the students being recognized on stage!  The exhibition will also be open that day.
