All CTE students have the opportunity to participate in the Performance Based Assessments (PBA) which are industry created challenges that ask students to apply what they are learning in class to real world scenarios.

performance-based assessment is a real-world industry problem-based or design based culminating challenge that assesses students Knowledge and Skills of a CTE pathway program local industry Partners challenge students to develop School tensor product these School level finalists then present their final products to the industry partner who assisted in developing these challenges I just love seeing the work they put out I think for me it fills my heart knowing that there are people that are really trying and you know want to do this sort of career in the future give me a different than other assessments it gives you a chance to get feedback from industry professionals and it also gives you a feel for what jobs are out there and what a professional setting would be what are the key ingredients is communication whether you're in the building industry whether you're in technology engineering communicating your ideas to not only your peers but to your superiors is important to show these kids put a lot of time and effort into these projects and I'm very proud to be part of this to hear the young minds that believe the leaders of tomorrow they can really learn from this and help then I hopes to see some of these gives in the future and we will be working alongside them or for them I would strongly encourage industry professionals to partner up when you see what ideas they have it kind of is Ashley really inspiring because it makes you want to think in a different way to TV8 is greatly beneficial for your students because when you're a kid you never know what you really want to do with your life and people will show that their work that they're passionate about really can be a viable career when you're passionate about something sing believe that you'll never work a day in your life because it's something that brings you a lot of value and Mia
