Welcome to my Kalāheo teacher page. I am a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher in the Public and Human Services (PHS) Pathway at Kalāheo High School and am a certified secondary teacher.
Courses Taught
 
Public & Human Services (PHS) Core
    • Explore various issues such as communication, health and safety in the workplace, financial literacy, etc. that affect professions in the Public & Human Services Pathway 
Culinary I
    • Learn foundational skills which include basic kitchen safety & sanitation, use & maintenance of equipment, and how to execute standard recipes
  • Culinary II
    • Expansion of skills include more complex techniques, exploring with various flavor profiles, recipe modification, etc.

Work Experience
 
Extensive experience in service industries since 1990, in several service related industries, and moved to teaching in 2014. My industry experience allows for deeper understanding or client/guest needs and am uniquely qualified to teach the Public & Human Services Pathway.
