As a kid I always loved drawing and photography. In college I majored in Art, Animation and Film Making.  

The years after college I helped with different local film makers as either an editor, director or even stunt man. 

After a few years of freelancing in art I decided to give back and got my degree in teaching. 

 

I've been teaching at Kalaheo since 2014.

 

During my years at Kalaheo I have taught students in General Art classes, Photography classes and even Graphic Design. Some of my students will participate in art exhibition and competition during their high school art career.  Students in Photography 2 will participate in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards,PELE awards, Congressional Art Competition, and YAM (Youth Art Month) Competition.

 

I received my BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in Studio Art and a BS in Film and Animation from the ACM Program at UH Manoa. Then my PBCSE (Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Secondary Education) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  I am a licensed teacher in the State of Hawaii.
