Student Parking Permits
Attention Kalaheo Licensed Student Drivers:
Kalaheo will begin selling student parking permits on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022. Only 53 permits will be sold on a first come first serve basis with Seniors getting priority starting on 8/3/22 to 8/5/22 only! Juniors and Sophomores may purchase a student parking permit starting 8/8/22.
Wednesday, 8/3/22 through Friday, 8/13/22 will be free parking in the upper level parking lot. The lower level is designated for staff only.
Kalaheo will begin enforcing parking permits on Monday, 8/15/22.

Parking Rules

Students MUST have a permit to park on campus. There will be a limited amount of numbered spaces available during the 2022-2023 school year. Parking is first come first serve and only students with a valid parking permit for the 2022-2023 school year will be allowed to park in the designated student parking spaces (43-95).

Any person parked in a space other than the assigned student numbered spaces (43-95) or without the proper permit may be cited and/or towed at the owner’s expense. Parking passes may not be shared. Sharing a parking pass will result in losing the parking privilege for the year.

Students MAY NOT park in spaces labeled Visitor, Staff, or 1-42.

A student’s parking permit may be revoked for any of the following reasons:

Using parking pass on non-registered vehicle
-
Leaving campus during recess or lunch
-
Combination of 25 unexcused absences or tardies (3 Tardies = 1 absence)
-
Causing a disturbance in the parking lot (loud music, unsafe driving, hanging out etc.)
-
Transferring permit to another student
-
Other disciplinary infractions as determined by administration
Student-Operated Vehicle and Permit Rules & Regulations

No person shall drive any vehicle, nor shall any person stop or park any vehicle upon the grounds of Kalaheo High School except in accordance with the following regulations:

No student shall drive their vehicles onto campus

No student should cause a disturbance including but not limited to exhibition of speed (burnouts, donuts, drifting ect.)

Students must follow all parking and permit rules & regulations.

Combination of 25 unexcused absences or tardies (3 Tardies = 1 absence)

Other discipline infractions as determined by administration

Permit holders may ONLY park in stall numbers (43-95) during school hours.

Students may not park in the following areas:

The front parking in front of H-Building
-
On Iliaina St inside campus, M-Building, J-Building, or A-Building
-
Any stall marked “Staff”, “Visitor”, or 1-42
-
Student permits must be displayed on the rearview mirror.

Students will lose their parking permit (pass must be returned to school) for the following violations:

Sharing parking pass with anyone;
-
Leaving campus during recess or lunch
-
Student does not follow one of the rules or regulations listed above;
-
Student has a combination of 25 unexcused absences or tardies (3 Tardies = 1 absence)
-
Student is suspended for more than 3 days during a semester.
