About CyberPatriots
What is CyberPatriot?
CyberPatriot is the largest National cyber defense competition for grades 6-12. Teams use their cybersecurity skills to defend different operating systems and networks. If you're new to cybersecurity, the team mentors will help you learn the skills you'll need to be successful in the competition.
CyberPatriot at Kalaheo
Kalaheo High School has CyberPatriot teams in the Open Division and the All Service (NJROTC) Division. The All Service Division is only available to students currently in the NJROTC program at Kalaheo. Our technical mentor is Kent Kuriyama, who has many years of experience in the cybersecurity field.

The 2022-23 Season is Over!
Both the All Service Division Team and Open Division Team made it to the highest Platinum tier this year. However, after several challenging rounds, we have ended our season. The Kalaheo Teams would like to thank our Technical Mentor, Mr. Kent Kuriyama for all his help. Kent has been our technical mentor for 5 years! He was there teaching our students from the very first team we had at Kalaheo High School. This year is our last year working with him because he will return to Kailua Intermediate to help rebuild the CyberPatriot team there. Thank you so much Kent!
