Kalaheo HS Student Fees-Mandatory & Optional

Mandatory Student Fees:

$18.00 - Mandatory Student Fee for ALL students includes:

• Grade Level Fee - $8
• Associated Students of Kalaheo - $10

• $60.00 – Optional for Grade 12 Only: Graduation Fee: for Seniors opting to participate in graduation commencement ceremony held at Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall (fee primarily covers rental of facility)

Optional Student Fees:

• $50.00 - Yearbook  (Please contact Yearbook Advisor, Christina Shaffer M202)
• $25.00 - Student Athletic Pass: student attendance to football, basketball, and volleyball games (Please see the Athletic Director): cash or check only
• Note: Pursuant to Hawaii DOE Chapter 8-57, students are responsible for paying mandatory student fees and outstanding obligations (e.g. lost text/library books, lab fees, dress code violation t-shirts/shorts, athletic training supplies, etc.)  Noncompliance will result in the ineligibility to participate in extra-curricular activities (e.g. sports, dances, prom, student government, clubs, graduation, etc.)

Payments:

• Pursuant to Act 45, SLH 1981, the DOE will assess a fee of $25 for each returned check
• Pursuant to Chapter 7.11.3. if a check writer has two consecutive instances of checks returned for insufficient funds, the check writer will be placed on a cash basis of payment only.
