Lisa Lea Special Education Department Head

 

Aloha! My name is Lisa Lea and this is my third year as the Special Education Department Head at Kalaheo.  I have lived and worked in the Kailua community for almost 40 years.  My three children are all graduates of Kalaheo, the last a graduate of the class 2015.  My previous teaching experience was in Elementary Special Education at Maunawili Elementary School and Kapunahala Elementary School.  In my early teaching years I was a Special Education Resource teacher for Language Arts, Math and Adaptive PE, however, for the 6 years prior to joining Kalaheo I was a full inclusion teacher at Maunawili Elementary where I co-taught Language Arts and Mathematics.  I was also the Special Education Department Head at Maunawili for 4 years.
